IPB, PT Waskita Karya Realty Cooperates to Build Toll Road to Dramaga
Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Waskita Karya Realty. The signing of the MoU was conducted by the Rector of IPB, Dr. Arif Satria, with the President Director of PT Waskita Karya Realty, Tukijo, in Andi Hakim Nasoetion Building, IPB Dramaga Campus IPB, Bogor (27/3).
This cooperation focuses on the development of education, research and community service integrated with the development of IPB Dramaga campus, Bogor. IPB Rector said that the MoU is related to development plans of the campus surrounding.
"Hopefully this cooperation can optimize the IPB's assets inside and outside the campus which have added value for the progress and prosperity of IPB," said Rector.
This cooperation is done in the framework of mutually beneficial synergies to improve the efficiency and productivity of resources owned. It keeps sticking to the principles of sound business and is not contrary to the prevailing laws and regulations.
"In addition to the development plans around the campus, this cooperation will also be followed by opening access to the construction of a toll road directly to IPB, so that people who want to visit the IPB Dramaga campus are not stuck in a traffic jam. At present time, it spends more than one hour to reach the campus due to traffic jam. Thus, the development of toll road will be helpful," he said.
Meanwhile, Tukijo said that the MoU is implemented with good intention together to make synergy in optimizing the existing IPB assets.
"We are cooperating for better development of IPB Dramaga campus using maximum ideas in building facilities and infrastructure that support the campus to be more advanced and developed. We hope this cooperation continues well and IPB keeps going forward and progressing positively," he added.
This MoU was witnessed by Vice Rector for Resources, Planning and Finance Dr Agus Purwito, Vice Rector for Cooperation and Information System Prof. Dr. Dodik Ridho Nurrochmat, Vice Rector for Innovation, Business and Entrepreneurship Prof. Dr. Erika Budiarti Laconi, Director of Partnership and Alumni Relations of IPB, Dr. Heti Mulyati, and a number of Officials of PT Waskita Karya Realty.
