IPB Goes to School to Kendal, Central Java

The Organisasi Mahasiswa Daerah (Omda Regional Student Organization) of Kendal, Central Java,  who are members Forum Komunikasi Mahasiswa (Fokma Student Communication Forum)  Bahurekso, Kendal, spent their odd semester vacation by organizing  IPB Goes to School (IGTS), last January.

Some members of Bahurekso visited 34 SMA / MA in Kendal, Central Java, on January 27-28 Januari 2018. “At least 1.538 students attended this IGTS series, including Kendal Campus Fair (KCF)”, explained Adhi, one member of the Organizing Committee of the Tour.

One of teachers of SMAN 1 Kendal, Dra. Rini Lestari, M.Pd, said that it was the good IGTS program. In addition to promote IPB to prospective new incomers who are students of those High School, the Program also the practical method to encourage IPB students to present information in front of general public.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) or Questions and Answers (Q&A), was about IPB Admission Systems for new students, faculty and majors, tips and tricks to be admitted into the university especially IPB, as well as life in the university in general. "Hopefully, students who have learned about IPB in detail, will pursue their higher degree program in IPB, and return home to practice what they will have learned to develop their areas, Kendal," said Adhi.
