The excitement of Grand Closing Bogor Art Festival at IPB Campus
Grand closing "Bogor Art Festival" took place in Graha Widya Wisuda (GWW) Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) closed the year of 2017. The event was enlivened by the performance of GAC (Gamaliel Audrey Cantika), Sujiwo Tejo, Student Choir (PSM) IPB Agriaswara, Sora Etnika Daya Studio, and Gentra Kaheman IPB Student Activity Unit (UKM).
Bogor Art Festival is a routine event held to preserve the arts and culture of Indonesia. Various races contribute to the festivities of the event, such as choir, photography, and dance. In addition, this event also held a bazaar of creative-economic products with the theme of arts and culture, tourism and culinary typical of West Java and handicraft products located in the Bogor region.
Appeared to be present in the grand closing of which Rector of IPB, Dr. Arif Satria; Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) IPB, Dr. Lukman Mohammad Baga; and Head of Art and Film Department of Tourism and Culture of Bogor City, Dra. Sri Herlina Nasution, MM.
"Remembering my parents' advice, everyone has the potential that needs to be grown so that there is a balance between IQ and EQ intelligence to develop into a nation's superior seeds." One way to develop this intelligence is by having an event like this, "said Rector.
In the meantime, Dr. Lukman Mohammad Baga said Student Executive Board (BEM) of FEM IPB want to present a big contribution for the city where they study i.e. Bogor. "So, we raised the arts and culture with certain themes in order to preserve the art and culture of Indonesia to avoid cultural extinction. “The potential of art and culture especially Bogor, West Java needs to be introduced to the wider community, "he said.
"This event is extraordinary! It is our duty to preserve the arts and culture, especially for young students. IPB is interested in preserving art and culture. This event is held the seventh time this year and it must be continued with new innovation," Dra added. Sri Herlina Nasution, MM.
The enthusiasm of the community was evident in enlivening the Grand Closing "Bogor Art Festival". This event was not only attended by only IPB students. Many guests from outside IPB were also present. (TK)
