Achievement Trace of The Printer of Perfect GPA (IPK) of 4.00
Yoga Rivaldi, the student of 5th semester, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH), Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), had a myriad of achievements. In the middle of dense schedules of college did not dampen the steps of the man from Pabalong, South Kalimantan to continue to develop himself through various national and international competition events. Through the event, the student who received Beasiswa Utusan Daerah (BUD) / Scholarship of Regional Representative of Pt. Adaro had earned many champions.
His first achievement in IPB was to obtain the perfect GPA (IPK) of 4.00 in the 1st semester. This earned him the award of his scholarship institution as an outstanding student. Furthermore, various achievements followed him. Some of the championships he won was the 1st national science debate champion in Diponegoro University in 2016. While the achievements were successfully inscribed during the year of 2017, namely the delegation of the veterinarian conference of Indonesia-Malaysia; 2nd winner of national technology debate competition at Institut Teknologi Kalimantan; passing the scientific work on the Program Committe of ASEAN Islamic Economic Summit in Kuala Lumpur; passing the scientific work on the International Paper Competition of Animal Science and Veterinary Program in Japan; the 3rd winner of the national scientific work contest in Hasanuddin University; and the finalist of Top 60 Best Youth Innovation in the National Student Scientific Week (Pimnas).
In the next few days, exactly on 23 November 2017, Yoga and his team would also leave for Taiwan in the framework of the presentation of the scientific paper. All the achievements and the accomplishments which he had achieved could not be separated from the efforts he had tried before. Long before he managed to win various competitions, he had often felt the failure. Initially, Yoga often followed the scientific competitions, but failing to win. He also evaluated himself, why he continued to fail? Finally, he remembered the message of his teacher of reading Al Quran who conveyed “if our worship was good, our relationshop with Allah was good, insha Allah all our businesses were also good”. From the motivational sentence that the student who became the Ambassador of Institute (DI) of IPB began to improve his relation and worship to Allah. “Alhamdulillah, after I improve the quality of my worship, Allah allows me to gain a beautiful victory,” said Yoga.
In addition to busy himself to follow a variety of competitions, Yoga was also active in various organizations on campus as well as off campus. Currenlty, he was active as a recipient of the scholarship of Rumah Kepemimpinan Nurul Fikri which had a teaching program for children in the neighborhood around his residence. Yoga was also active in Indonesia Green Action Forum (IGAF), one of the environmental care movements initiated by the alumni of IPB; and active as a mentor in the community of Propelan, namely one of the communities that overshadowed those who wished to have the achievements in various fields.(Kho/NM)
