IPB Organized the Inspiring Seminar with 2017 Unileader

Faculty of Economics and Management of Bogor Agricultural University (FEM IPB) in cooperation with PT. Unilever Indonesia organized  the Inspiring Seminar with Unileader 2017: New Way of Doing Business Sustainability Driving Value. The event was implemented  at Auditorium Andi Hakim Nasoetion, IPB campus, Dramaga, Bogor, 18 October 2017.

The special event was officially opened by Vice Dean for Resources, Cooperation and Development of FEM IPB, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Firdaus. Prof. Firdaus in his opening remarks stated that event such as inspiring Unileader is very important to inspire students to understand fully how multinational companies tries to sustain its sustainability by contributing to the economy, environment and of the society.

Head of the Corporate Foundation and Corporate Sustainability of PT. Unilever, Sinta Kurniawati, who is also alumni of IPB presented tips on how she managed working in  Unilever started as management trainee position to reach the current position. "The tip is to love what we do. In addition, learn what is your jobs, love them, so we can work in totality, "she said.

One thing that Sinta remembers was the courses she learned in the university, they are very useful to be applied in the world of work. "Do not take for granted the sciences offered by IPB, they are basic science that are applicable in most fields," he said. (Wied)
