Ten Students of IPB Performed the Live Painting Agrisymphony 2017

Achievement

Ten Srikandi (female students) of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) painted on canvas media directly in Grha Widya Wisuda (GWW), IPB Campus, Dramaga, Bogor, on  16 September 2017. The event which was named Live Painting is one of the program of Agrisymphony event in order to enliven the 54th Anniversary of IPB. The painters or painters are students of the  Undergraduate Program and of the Directorate of Diploma Programs of IPB. They performed the action approximately ten hours, i.e. starting at 7:00 to 18:00 pm.

The event in charge, Jenny, said the theme of this year's painting is 'Time Lapse' which means to tell the development of agriculture since ancient times, present, and future. The paintings will be kept as archives and will be exhibited in most IPB events.

This activity is quite interesting to the visitors. "Awesome cool. The painting is unique, the blend colours fit well. Loved this painting. Moreover, the painters are all women, "said Desi, one of the visitors.
