IPB Awarding Night 2017, the Greatest Appreciation Event for Achievements Made by IPB Students

There were a series of interesting event carried in commemorating the 54th Anniversary of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). Various serial programs have been well-implemented. The summit program was the one carried out on 17 September 2017 evening, it was the IPB Awarding Night and Gebyar Nusantara 2017 at Grha Widya Graduation, IPB Campus, Dramaga, Bogor.

IPB Awarding Night 2017 was planned to appreciate IPB students who excel in the non-academic programs. IPB with the best quality human resources (HR) in Indonesian universities, always committed to develop the potential of human resources it has. One of them by giving appreciation for student achievement in various fields, especially in non-academic activities.

"IPB is always trying to maximize the potential of its human resources. IPB Awarding Night event is the motivational reference for students continue to make achievements  nationally of internationally, "said Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs of IPB, Prof. Dr. Yonny Koesmaryono.

IPB Awarding Night is the annual event organized by Student Executive Board – Student Family (BEM KM) of IPB. This is the biggest appreciation night organized by IPB. The event was really livelier as it was supported by group of students to support the Student Achievement nomination. In addition, this event was the collaborative work by BEM KM with  Gebyar Nusantara of IPB which is the biggest Nusantara Cultural Show in IPB, featuring cultural performances from various regions.

The awards have been granted for students who excelled in non-academic program activities. Those who made their best contributions for the university  with their achievements are deserved to be granted these awards. After undergone through the rigorous selection processes, the students who made achievements in various fields, were as follows:

These names have successfully achieved some achievement and were selected to be  outstanding students in various fields. This proves that IPB students are constantly striving to develop their soft skills and also prioritizing academics. It is expected that Award Granting  event will encourage IPB students to excel and contribute the best to Alma Matter, IPB. (Wied)
