Agria Swara of IPB Livens Up Ceremony of Pancasila’s Birthday at Pancasila Building, Jakarta
Student Choir (PSM) Agria Swara of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) sang epic songs in the celebration ceremony of Pancasila Birthday on the yard of Pancasila Building, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Central Jakarta (06/01/17). The ceremony was organized to strengthen the love for homeland with the tagline "Saya Indonesia, Saya Pancasila!" (I am Indonesian, I love Panacasila).
PSM Agria Swara of IPB this time in collaboration with Twilite Orchestra led by Indonesia's leading Music Director, Addie M.S presented the heroic songs: Mars Pancasila, Bangun Pemudi Pemuda, Rayuan Pulau Kelapa and Bagimu Negeri that greatly inflamed the spirit of national struggle. The song ‘Shalawat Badar’ was also played to sweetly accompany the epic songs because the birthday celebration of Pancasila this year coincides with the holy month of Ramadan. The opportunity of PSM Agria Swara of IPB this time was from the invitation by Indonesia Creative Economic Agency for the successful role of one of the IPB Alumni, former Chairman of Agria Swara, Tjandra Wibowo.
On this occasion Agria Swara IPB appeared with typical traditional costumes of various regions in Indonesia.
The first anniversary ceremony of Pancasila's birthday this year was directly led by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo as the ceremonial inspector. President invites all elements of the Indonesian nation to jointly maintain Pancasila for the unity of the Indonesian nation. Also present in the ceremony were Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla, leaders of state institutions and ministers of the Working Cabinet, invited guests including the 6th Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Tri Sutrisno, 11th Vice President Boediono, the family of those who formulated Pancasila, the sons and daughters of First President Soekarno, Guruh Soekarno Putra and Sukmawati, Soekarno Putri and those struggling for the nation.
Besides the state officials, attending the ceremony were religious leaders wearing the attributes of each religion and higher education leaders, one of whom was IPB’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Herry Suhardiyanto, M.Sc. He went to the Podium of Agria Swara for taking a photo with PSM Agria Swara of IPB, and even the Garrison Leader who performed the ceremony on that day asked for a photo taken together with IPB’s Rector, Addie MS and Arvin Zeinullah as the Agria Swara IPB Coach and the supervisor of Agria Swara IPB, Dr. Agus Lelana. IPB’s Rector expressed his appreciation and pride for Agria Swara invited in this very historic moment.
Head of the Indonesian Creative Economy Agency, who is the father of the famous singer Sherina, Triawan Munaf, said, "Agria Swara of IPB is invited because its reputation has raised the reputation of Indonesia in various International Championship events and compactness in building the Choir Team”.
The presence of Agria Swara IPB in this encouraging moment of nationalism is one proof that IPB students are loyal to Pancasila, NKRI and ready to maintain diversity. (Mtd)
