Assessment of the employment rate for the graduates of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) in the working world entered into number five in the world. The result needed to be grateful and maintained as the graduates of IPB. This was conveyed by Head of Sub Directorate of Student Career Development, Directorate of Career Development and Alumni Relations (DPKHA) IPB, Dr. Anuraga Jayanegara in the event of Studium Generale of the Debriefing of the Pre Graduation Career, Monday (8/5) in Auditorium of Andi Hakim Nasoetion, Campus of IPB Dramaga, Bogor. “The graduates of IPB hold the mandate to enhance the reputation of IPB,” he said. 

 Dr. Anuraga added that the struggle of the candidate graduates would never stop. There would be a continuing struggle in building the success until there was no more. In addition to encouraging to be the employees, IPB encouraged the graduates to the entrepreneurship, so that any graduate of IPB should have the entrepreneurial spirit.

 Meanwhile, the Head of Sub Directorate of Alumni Relations of DPKHA of IPB, Dr. Andes Ismayana, said that after successfully graduated in IPB, then there would be a struggle ahead  which was waiting. Through this event, it would provide a little bullet or the basic capital of the prospective graduates in the form of the insight and the briefing. Similarly for those interested in the entrepreneurship, DPKHA of IPB had an entrepreneurial student program. “This program can be used to be more steady move,” he said. 

 In the Studium Generale this time, it presented Kukuh Roxa Putra Hadriyono, CEO and Founder Pandawa Putra Indonesia Group. He also was the alumni of the Department of Agronomy and Horticulture, the Faculty of Agriculture (Faperta) IPB of 43rd Batch. He said, although he considered to be successful in the entrepreneurship, but there was a process that was considered not easy to achieve it. Therefore, he said that the habit was an important part to build.

 Kukuh also said that the reading was the door to open the way of success. “In building a business at least it needs three years to survive,” he said. Another resource person was the alumni of IPB of 22nd batch, Odjat Sujatnika, the Founder & CEO Aksenta Consulting.(dh)
