Inauguration of New Officials of IPB

Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB Bogor Agricultural Institute) held the official inauguration of new officials, on Monday, 10 April 2017, in the lobby of Andi Hakim Nasution Building, Dramaga Campus, Bogor. The process for recruitment of the newly sworn in officials were based on standard procedures and through comprehensive process for their considerations. They are selected as new IPB officials as they are competent and really bright, have professional dedication and loyalty. In addition they are able to create a good team synergy with other  IPB officials and colleagues, and have a lot of relevant experience and a good track record over the years.

Rector of IPB, Prof. Dr. Herry Suhardiyanto in his remarks congratulated for their  successful achievements and dedication given to IPB within their services to the university. He hopes they will continue to devote their best efforts to offer excellent service, to create IPB to be the superior institution and continuous to develop servant leadership.

Furthermore, the rector explained in the annual roadmap, appealed to the appointed officials to continuously improve their performances in order to align with the vision of IPB, namely ''To be a research-based university, and having the International Standard and as the prime mover of Mainstreaming of Agriculture in 2017. This will be implementable by  optimizing the basic capital of IPB such as its innovations that successfully achieved, superiority skilled human resources, to conduct the excellent relevant scientific studies in agriculture in the broad sense.

There are a number of issues to be resolved, namely the formulation of architectural academic, institutional accreditation, studies program accreditation, studies program evaluation, strengthening of the School of Business and the establishment of Vocational School, integration Database and Information Systems, the implementation of performance management systems, the development of the system of compensation as the procurement of laboratory equipment education and research and the implementation of Green Transportation.

Rector expects that the sworn in officials so earnestly carry out their duties and functions to make certain that organizational tasks are carried out in its best. In addition they have to create and establish and maintain good work superior-subordinate relationships. Moreover, they should be able to foster a creative culture, work independently, responsible they must also be dedicated to shaping the future of IPB to be excellent university.  Finally rector urged the newly sworn in officials to have self-motivated, hard-working individual; self-starter, who applies individual initiative to get the job done. problems encountered to ensure that all activities and services the unit can work well in a conducive environment. They should have good management to provide services to the university community in an appropriate, efficient, equitable, and to create a stable environment conducive to doing business is a key of IPB.
