Cooperation of IPB with Poltekkes Tasikmalaya

Institute for Research and Community Services (LPPM), Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) accepted the working visit of the Polytechnic of Health of the Ministry of Health (Poltekkes Kemenkes) Tasikmalaya (11-12/2). This activity was signing the cooperation in the field of research and community services.

This visit was directly led by the Director of Poltekkes Tasikmalaya, Hj. Betty Suprapti, S.Kp.,M.Kes, accompanied by around 52 ranks of the management and staff, Monday-Tuesday (13-14/2). The delegation was received in the Academic Senate Meeting Room, Andi Hakim Nasoetion Building, Campus of IPB Darmaga, Bogor.

The Head of LPPM of IPB, Dr. Prastowo, said that the activity of LPPM of IPB which was done not separated from HR and the physical resources owned by LPPM of IPB. “Therefore, we constantly improve the expertise and develop the field of research and community services. Hopefully, after this meeting it can be realized the concrete collaboration,” he said.

While, the Director of Poltekkes Tasikmalaya conveyed that through this visit it was expected to share the knowledge and experience in the field of research and community services. “We come to IPB, because IPB is a great university and successfully develops the field of research and commuity services,” she said.

On this occasion, it was presented several programs that had been conducted by LPPM of IPB, including Kuliah Kerja Nyata / Real Working Lecture (KKN) – Thematic of IPB, IPB Goes to Field (IGTF), Bina Cinta Lingkungan / Development of Love the Environment, Pengembangan Kemitraan Desa Lingkar Kampus / Partnership Development of the Village Around the Campus, Simpul Kolaborasi Inovasi / Collaboration Knot of Innovation, and Pusat Kajian Gender dan Anak / Center for Gender and Children (PKGA). Furthermore, this delegation from Poltekkes conducted the visit to Pusat Penelitian Lingkungan Hidup / Environmental Research Center (PPLH), Pusat Pengembangan Ilmu dan Teknologi Pangan dan Pertanian Asia Tenggara / Center for Development of Science and Technology of Food and Agriculture of Southeast Area (SEAFAST Center), Agribusiness Development Station (ADS), Pusat Kajian Hortikultura Tropika / Tropical Horticulture Research Center (PKHT), and Pusat Inkubator Bisnis dan Pengembangan Kewirausahaan / Business Incubator Center and Entrepreneurship Development (Incubie LPPM of IPB).

Also being presented on this occasion among others the Deputy Head of the Research of LPPM of IPB, Prof. Dr. Agik Suprayogi, the Deputy Head of the Community Services of LPPM of IPB, Dr. Hartoyo, and a number of researchers in IPB. (Awl)
