Friday Tour of IPB in Sukadamai Village

Team of Friday Tour of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) arrived in Sukadamai Village, Dramaga Subdistrict, Bogor District, Friday (30/9). On this occasion, Head of Sukadamai Village, H. Pepen, expressed gratitude to IPB which had been assisting and fostering the residents of Sukadamai Village in the livestock sector. 

He said, IPB had established Pos Pemberdayaan Keluarga / Family Empowerment Post (Posdaya), to provide training, to coach the cadre and inputs to build for the progress and the prosperity of the community of Sukadamai Village. “Hopefully IPB is a bridge for the advancement of the children of Sukadamai Village in drawing the education science. They are the ones who will make Sukadamai Village developed and developing for the better,“ he said.

Chairman of the group of the Friday Tour of IPB, Deputy Head of Community Services, Institute for Research and Community Services (LPPM) of IPB, Dr. Hartoyo, said, IPB would continue to build relationship with the residents around the campus. “IPB is also a part of the village around the campus, so rightly IPB gives the attention, the guidance and the partnership for the progress and the welfare of the residents around the campus,” he explained. 

The Friday Tour of IPB was strung together with the free of charge health services by the team of Dompet Dhuafa, the socialization of Pusat Pelayanan Keluarga Sejahtera / Prosperous Family Service Center (PPKS) of Agrianita of IPB, the donations to 20 orphans, the provision of the equipment for Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini / Early Childhood Education Program (PAUD), the provision of medical equipment for Posyandu / Integrated Service Post, and the provision of al-Quran for local Majlis Taklim. Also presented in this group of the Friday Tour of IPB were the officials of Agrianita of IPB. (Awl)
