French Scouts Practicing in IPB

Student Activity Unit (UKM) of Scout, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Wednesday (20/7), welcome the arrival of four members of the French Scout on the Rectorate Yard of IPB Darmaga Campus. This was symbolized by giving red roses and a notebook bearing IPB logo, the work of the Student Activity Unit of Scout, IPB. The France Scouts is scheduled to jointly participate in the Rural Development organized in cooperation with the Student Association Student Executive Board of Student Family (BEM KM) IPB. The activity will take place in the village of Ciaruteun Ilir, Bogor Regency, located around the campus of IPB. It is scheduled to last until August 15, 2016.

 

In addition to building the village, the French Scouts will also exchange knowledge of scouting and culture with members of the Scout UKM of IPB. This will run every weekend, Saturday and Sunday. They will also be invited to know about IPB campus environment and all facilities and campus life in it. They will also be introduced to scouting in the country, especially in IPB Campus, that is, Gudep No. 30091-30092 which is based inside the campus of IPB.

 

The French Scouts while in IPB Campus will be accompanied by all members of IPB Scout UKM. IPB Scouts will also introduce typical food, scouting in IPB, surrounding of IPB campus as well as routine activities of IPB Scouts, such as regular practices, national competition of research tent for the enforcing scouts of Indonesia, and community service activities such as training and teaching in elementary, junior high, and high schools around IPB campus. *** (Mtd)
