SMA Islam Athirah (Islamic Senior High School) Visits IPB

The delegation of SMA Islam Athirah of Makasar visits Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). The visit was welcome by the Head of Promotion Division, Bureau of Legal Affairs, Promotion and Public Relations of IPB, Dr. drh. M. Fahrudin in the Auditorium Andi Hakim Nasution, Dramaga Campus, Bogor.

 

Representative of SMA Islam Athirah, Abdul Aziz S.Pd, said that the main purpose of this visit is to motivate the students to continue their studies in colleges as well as receive information about life on campus. The visit begins with the description of the courses offered by IPB, presented by Dr. Fahrudin.

 

On this occasion, Dr. Fahrudin also told that IPB does not only focus on academic activities, but also provides the opportunity for the development of students’ interests and talents through a number of Student Activity Units (UKM) developed by IPB. It was becoming more attractive during the question and answer session. Some students ask questions about IPB, for example Yusrina asked about the job prospects of IPB graduates and Fadla Ahmad asked about the dorm for freshmen.

 

The visit ended by giving souvenirs, taking a group photo and a tour around looking at the facilities at IPB. (Mtd).
