Career Debriefing to the Prospective Graduates of IPB
As much as 1,419 students of Diploma Program of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) followed Stadium General of Pre Graduation, Tuesday (25/8) in Grha Widya Wisuda (GWW), Campus of IPB Dramaga, Bogor. Career debriefing given to the prospective graduates was organized in cooperation of Directorate of Career Development and Alumni Relation (DPKHA) with Directorate of Diploma of IPB.
This activity was attended by Rector of IPB, Prof.Dr. Herry Suhardiyanto who also gave a speech to the prospective graduates. “Congratulations on the completion of the task of education in Diploma Program. Insha Allah we have educated the graduates of Diploma to become Ahli Madya / Associate Expert which can strengthen our agricultural sector. Hopefully the graduates can immediately take part in their respective fields. I expect that this career debriefing can really open up the insights of Ladies and Gentlemen to be able to start the businesses in the field of agriculture,” explained the Rector.
“The future is full of uncertainty once again I would expect you to actually prepare yourself to build competence. They who are most prepared, will have the places,” expressed the Rector to the prospective graduates.
On the same occasion, Deputy Director of Student Affairs of Diploma Program of IPB, Dr. Irmansyah expressed his appreciation to the prospective graduates who had completed their education. “Congratulations to all Ladies and Gentlemen, the competition which will you face will be heavier, but we believe that with passion and effort to learn to develop themselves, Ladies and Gentlemen will be ready and win the competition. The debriefing of this pre graduation as the efforts of IPB to give the final provision before you graduate,” explained Dr. Irmansyah.
This activity presented the alumni of IPB as the resource person of career debriefing i.e. Nancy Martasuta, Senior Vice President of PT. BNI (Persero) Tbk, and Dr. Hery Margono as the motivator. The prospective graduates following this activity were inaugurated on Wednesday (26/8). (AS)
