IPB Graduated the Graduates with Perfect GPA

A total of 800 students of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) were graduated in the activity of “Wisuda dan Penyerahan Ijazah Tahap VI Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015 / Graduation and Diploma Delivery of Phase VI Academic Year 2014/2015”, Wednesday (3/6) in Grha Widya Wisuda of Campus of IPB Dramaga Bogor. The graduates comprised of 37 graduates titled Doctor, 222 graduates titled Master of Science, 11 graduates titled Master of Management, 7 graduates titled Professional Master, 21 graduates titled Profession of Veterinarian, and 502 graduates titled Sarjana / Scholar. The graduation was directly led by Rector of IPB, Prof.Dr. Herry Suhardiyanto. 
 
On this occasion, the Rector conveyed his speech to the graduates in order to continuously improve the competency after graduation, "I am convinced that the graduates graduated today are those who are best when the selection of new admissions, persevering through the process of education, and meeting the academic requirements. Further, I ask the graduates to prepare for the new challenges outside campus ". 
 
"We need to prepare ourselves in connection with the agreement of Economic Community of ASEAN which no longer, i.e. at the end of 2015, will apply. ASEAN will become a single market and be based on the regional production which is supported by the elements of the free flow of goods, services, investment, labor educated and freer capital flows. If we do not do it swiftly, rather than we can enter the labor market in other countries, what happened is otherwise, i.e. we will see more and more foreign workers who work in our country," asserted by the Rector.
 
In the graduation on this stage, IPB graduated the student achiever with the perfect value of Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.00, i.e. Parara Wendy Indarjo, the student of Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA). Parara was the student achiever of the grantee of Bidikmisi who completed the undergraduate education with the predicate of Cum Laude with a 44-month of study period. 
 
From the Postgraduate Program, IPB also graduated its best graduate from Doctoral Program with GPA of 4.00. Richard James Stanford completed his doctoral program in the Program of System Studies and Modeling Capture Fisheries with the study period of 48 months. The best graduates of other Postgraduate program amongst all were Nurmala Sari, Master of Sciences Program from Study Program of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences, Benny Giovannichriesty Kaban from Master of Management and Business Program, and Vincentius Arca Testamenti from Educational Program of Profession of Veterinarian.
 
The best graduates of Sarjana Program amongst all were Mariana Agustin Putri, the best graduate of Faculty of Agriculture; Nirmala, the best graduate of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine; Risti, the best graduate of Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences; Achmad Zainuri, the best graudate of Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Desi Wulan Sari, the best graduate of Faculty of Forestry, Stephanie Angka, the best graduate of Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Silmi Tsurayya, the best graduate of Faculty of Economics and Management, and Al Mukhlas Fikri, the best graduate of Faculty of Human Ecology. Stephanie Angka and Al Mukhlas Fikri were graduated with almost perfect GPA, i.e. 3.91 and 3.96. (AS)
