Dudi Fitri Susandi: Bachelor of Engineering that Became the Village Chief / Lurah

Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) with the agricultural label had been quite a lot to prove that every student who studied in this university would not only get the agricultural science and its applied science, but also other implemented and relevant sciences with the dynamics of life. Dudi Fitri Susandi was one of the figures of IPB alumni embracing the working world that was close to the society. 

Who would think that the graduate of Department of Food Technology, Faculty of Agricultural Technology (Fateta) had held the title as the youngest village chief / lurah of Bogor City at the age of 29 years old, i.e. at the time he firstly took hold of to be the village chief / lurah in 2006 “Eight years I have taken hold of the village chief / lurah in four sub-districts with different four kelurahan. When for the first time becoming the village chief / lurah, my age is just 29 years old”, he said. 

Dudi was the alumni of IPB of 32nd batch with the achievement during the college until taking hold of to be the village chief / lurah. “We should be able to make our life be meaningful”, he said while mentioning to be his living motto.

The man born in Bogor, 19 May 1977, had the living principle that as a human being he should be not only as the leader for others, but also should make our life be more meaningful. Dudi who came from the simple family, believed that every people had the duty and the right to conduct and give the best.

Dudi entered IPB through the lane of Interest and Capability Search (PMDK) and tried to finance himself by opening the learning guidance business. Since college until now Dudi was indeed active in organization, therefore he was easy to make friends and have a broad network. “We cannot give up to struggle the dream that we have in life. The holdup indeed sometimes brings down, but we should be back to come up and continue our delayed steps,” said Dudi. 

Apart from taking hold of a village chief / lurah, Dudi had been recorded as Organizer in the Agricultural Service of Belitung District (2001), Organizer in the Agricultural Service of Bogor City (2005), Head of Social Section of Kelurahan Situgede (2006), Village Chief / Lurah of Kedung Jaya (2006), Village Chief / Lurah of Gunung Batu (2008), Village Chief / Lurah of Empang (2011), and now Dudi took hold of as Village Chief / Lurah of Baranangsiang.
