Chinese Delegation Visited Posdaya Assisted by IPB

Six people of Chinese Association for International Understanding (CAFIU) delegation repeatedly stated the admiration to see the spirit of mutual assistance of the people of Babakan Sukamantri Kampong, Pasir Kuda Urban Village, West Bogor Sub-district through Pos Pemberdayaan Keluarga / Family Empowerment Post (Posdaya), Tuesday (9/12). One delegation, Mr Liu Kaiyang, said that in order the program of Posdaya which had run well could be continued.

The arrival of delegation of CAFIU in Posdaya named Puspa Lestari was welcomed by a number of students of Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini / Early Childhood Education (PAUD). Then they visited Pelayanan Rehabilitasi Sosial Penyandang Cacat Berbasis Masyarakat / Community Based Handicapped Social Rehabilitation Services (PRSPCBM) to see the students as the persons with disabilities making various crafts. Dialogue occured quite familiar between delegates and voluntary, and the students were guided by the researchers of Human Resources Development Center (P2SDM) of Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Ir Yannefri Bachtiar, M.Si. The entire stock action of trinkets of student works of PRSPCBM was conducted by the delegations.

While visiting Posyandu, one delegation asked whether Posyandu was only existing in the area of Pasir Kuda. Ir Yannefri explained that Posyandu almost certainly existed in every RW in Indonesia. In this occasion, Ir Yannefri introduced the program of Infak Sisa Belanja / Donation of Shopping Remaining (ISBA) in form of savings, as well as showed the result obtained in form of thousands of pieces of coins. Seeing this, spontaneous delegates of CAFIU also set aside the coins they had, even one including entered one sheet of money with the value of USD 50.  

The delegation also visited to Pos Usaha Kesehatan Kerja / Heading Occupational Health Enterprise (UKK) “Puspa” by directly reviewing the entrepreneurial home industry of making tempeh, and Koperasi Pembiayaan Ekonomi Kelurahan / Cooperative of Economic Financing of Village (KPEK). Attending this occasion was including Head of the Agency of Community Empowerment and Family Planning (BPMKB) of Bogor City, Dra Fetty Qondarsyah, M.Si., and Lurah / Headman of Pasir Kuda, Yayat Supriyatna.
