Veterinarian is a Prestigious Profession

Approximately 200 students from Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Kota Cilegon Pulomerak Banten visited to Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). The group was accepted by the Head of Promotion, Law Office, Promotion and Public Relation of IPB, Dr.drh. M. Fakhruddin, in Auditorium of Andi Hakim Nasoetion, Campus of IPB Darmaga Bogor (16/10).  The Head of Madrasah, Munirudin, S.Ag, MM.Pd, in his speech said that their visit to IPB was in order to grow the desire in the minds of their students to continue their education in the higher level.  “We come to IPB, intended that our children are motivated to go to college and of course in order to get an idea to get into IPB easily,” he said. Meanwhile, Dr.drh.  M. Fakhruddin, in one of his presentation said that the veterinarian profession abroad (Japan, Australia, America) was the “prestigious” profession after the medical profession.  “In developed country, if you want to be rich you are better to be a doctor or a veterinarian. Then where can we be a veterinarian? Yes at IPB,” he said. (zul)
