Meanwhile, Head of Agricultural Service of Bogor City, Ir.Ajrin Syamsuddin said thanks to IPB for assisting the Local Government in the supervision of the sacrificial animals. This year, there were around 12,000 sacrificial animals of cows and sheep, both those imported from other regions and from local farmers. Because of that, this needed the strict supervision related to concerns of the spread of zoonotic. The presence of a team from FKH IPB was expected to overcome this obstacle. For Bogor City itself, IPB would be fielded 174 students and 23 lecturers. (dh)
