Lively Healthy Morning Walk and Bazaar IPB 2014

In the celebration of 51st Dies Natalis, Bogor Agricultural University held the activity of Healthy Morning Walk and Bazaar (6/9). The participants which numbered reaching 10,000 people, started the Healthy Morning Walk in front of the Rectorate, Campus of IPB Dramaga, Bogor. This activity was symbolically opened by Rector of IPB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Herry Suhardiyanto, M.Sc with the releasing of balloon and banner to the air.

In this activity, the door price distribution which was drawn through the coupon handed over to the participants was also done. Not to be left out, it was also done the costume design contest of the Healthy Morning Walk of IPB which made this event more interesting and increasing the creativity of academicians of IPB.

Chairman of the Committee of Dies Natalis of IPB, Dr. Ir. Meika Syahbana Rusli, M.Sc, stated, “Thank you for the attendance of all participants, hopefully this will bring health to all of us. This is the day of togetherness of the people of IPB.”

Chairman of the Committee of the Healthy Morning Walk of IPB 2014, Prof. Dr. Ir. Khaswar Syamsu, M.Sc.St, also conveyed thank you to all participants and committees who had supported this activity. “Hopefully we all are given the health by joining this activity and can run Tridharma of University in the healthy condition,” said Prof. Dr. Ir. Khaswar Syamsu, M.Sc.St.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Organizing of Bazaar of IPB, Dr. Cahyono Tri Wibowo, M.S, reported that in this activity around 65 stands had filled Grha Widya Wisuda (GWW). There was  IPB Innovation Expo which provided various innovative products of IPB. This bazaar was enlivened by the products from the Regional Student Organization (OMDA), Agrianita, IPB partners and the villages around campus of IPB. Dr. Cahyono Tri Wibowo, M.S, stated, “Please enjoy, at the moment it has been available the products of IPB which have been ready to be contributed to the country and are introduced to the community.”

“Let us carry out this Healthy Morning Walk by taking a very important spirit of togetherness to us. On behalf of the management of IPB I say thank you and the appreciation to the academicians who have helped IPB in reaching its progresses, and for the students of IPB of 51st batch welcome to the club to become the new family of IPB. We must maintain the events of togetherness like this in order to maintain the spirit of togetherness to the future,” said the Rector of IPB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Herry Suhardiyanto, M.Sc. (RF)
