Roboboat Competition 2014 Monday, June 23, 2014

Department of Marine Sciences and Technology Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Bogor Agricultural University (ITK-FPIK-IPB) through the Division of Acoustics and Marine Instrumentation (AIK) held ROBOBOAT COMPETITION 2014 on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Department of ITK IPB. The roboboat applications were implemented on the Water Tank Facility at the Laboratory of Acoustics, and posters and exhibitions were held in the corridor of FPIK-IPB.

 

"This year it still has the same challenge, I.e., the boats without crew take the route determined by the committee," said Prof. Indra Jaya, who is in charge of the race. "But clearly the creation and innovation of participants is appearing to be more unique than that of the previous year," added Professor of FPIK-IPB.

 

Further, with such an activity, Head of Acoustics and Marine Instrumentation Division (AIK) FPIK IPB hopes that the student competence of ITK is improving and, not less important is making us closer to the independence of the Indonesian marine technology.
