2014 FATETA IPB Disciplinary Actions

Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB-FATETA) organized FATETA Disciplinary Actions during March 2014. This activity was launched by Rector of IPB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Herry Suhardiyanto and Dean of FATETA, Dr. Sam Herodian, on Wednesday, 5 March 2014, at the Faculty of Agricultural Technology Corridor, Dramaga campus. This action is intended to engage the student in a positive learning experience related to the student’s inappropriate behaviour, and/or educate other students so they do not find themselves in similar circumstances, as well as coaching them to be very discipline, simultaneous and  comprehensive to support efforts to increase the understanding, appreciation, practice and ethical norms of campus life for students of Faculty of Agricultural Technology IPB.
 
FATETA Disciplinary Actions was begun by putting the red vests for officers in charge for this action program. Those officers were from educators (faculty members), staff and students of FATETA IPB. IPB Rector in his remarks has given highly appreciation for the Executive Boards of FATET who have prepared excellent program on  Student  Conduct Code – Disciplinary Actions. Of course, it will be a very useful for students and the academic community. " FATETA offers something that is very outstanding and high quality performance. This is something that was unpredictable before, but FATETA has made it into real action. "
  
While Chairman of the Disciplinary Commission FATETA IPB, Dr. Rokhani  Hasbullah, said enforcement order or discipline on campus is the duty of every academic community. "Last year the Disciplinary Commission the has handled as many as six cases of violation. Starting from the signature fraudulent of both faculty members and students for attendance lists and other university transactions, cheating on exams, and theft. FATETA Disciplinary Actions, in addition to socialize code of conducts for academic community, as well as preventive measures against violations of ethical norms to comply with any disciplinary action will result in additional conduct charges and may result in additional disciplinary action(s).
