New experience to interact with the people, to visit a number of assets of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) and  to follow the short training about nourishing garden, livestock, orchid to freshwater catfish colored the series of Observation Study Tour (OST) of Family Empowerment Post (Posdaya), Tuesday (12/11). Yes, OST which was followed by the participants from Gorontalo District and Tadulako University Central Sulawesi this time integrated with the Tourism of Village around the Campus of IPB. 
 
Head of Institute for Research and Community Services (LPPM)-IPB, Dr. Prastowo, welcomed the activity involving the elements of the university leaders, the regional leaders and the staff of Local Work Units (SKPD). He  invited these regional leaders to replicate various existing programs at LPPM IPB.
 
"The ones which are good can be replicated. The ones which are not or less good we beg for the input,” added by the Head of Center for the Development of Human Resources (P2SDM) of LPPM IPB, Dr. Pudji Muljono.
 
The participants amounted to more than a hundred people were divided into three groups. Each was to follow the OST to Cikarawang Village and Babakan Village in Dramaga Sub-district, and Cihideung Udik Village in Ciampea Sub-district. Further all participants gathered in the Agribusiness Development Center (ADC). The participants then proceeded to the activities in the Faculty of Animal Husbandry of IPB and Experiment Garden of the Department of Agronomy and Horticulture in Leuwikopo. (nm)
