Department of Agribusiness IPB Held the Agribusiness Festival 2013

Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Economic and Management, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) held the Fun Bike followed by around 300 participants from among lecturers, students, and bike community, Saturday (28/9). The event of Fun Bike  which was a part of a series of activity of this Agribusiness Festival 2013 was opened directly by the Head of Department of Agribusiness, Dr.Ir.Nunung Kusnadi in the front yard of the Campus of  IPB Baranangsiang. The event of this Agribusiness Festival was also enlivened with the cooking demonstration from the  Women Farmer Group of Campus Circle Village of IPB and Agribusiness Exhibition Products. 

 

In his welcome speech, Dr.Nunung conveyed to thank to the participants of Fun Bike. “Hopefully through this Fun Bike, in addition to improve the relationship, the cycling culture can be improved. The cycling habit is also good for health and is environmentally friendly transport,” said Dr.Nunung. Besides that, Dr.Nunung added that this Agribusiness Festival was the annual routine event. Dr.Nunung hoped that the event of the Agribusiness Festival brought benefit primarily in increasing the economic value of local food-based community.(dh)
