First Friday Tour of 2013

The Friday Tour with the theme “Partnership for the Independence of Villages around Campus” was held at the Village Cikarawang. "After our analysis, the Cikarawang villagers are very enthusiastic to welcome IPB programs. Then we select it as the first village to visit in the Friday Tour, which has been for 6 years carried out by IPB. To Cikarawang village, my message is that as for the crystal guavas which have got appreciation up to the national level, we must continue to maintain their quality, especially in the supply of superior crystal guava seedlings. Do not let the seedlings have poor quality," said Rector of IPB, Prof. Dr. Ir, Herry Suhardiyanto, M.Sc.

As the Village Chief of Cikarawang, Sapturi Wijaya said in his speech, we are very grateful for the patronage and jobs provided for the villagers. He hopes this achievement can be enhanced further with the support of IPB.
