As evidence of the concerns over the social environment, community development, health, and agriculture, the Student Executive Board of Student Families, Bogor Agricultural University (BEM KM IPB) held IPB’s Social and Health Care (I-SHARE) of 2013, Saturday (28/9). The activity titled "We’re young, Taking Actions and Serving for the Nation" consists of a series of activities: Village Development (26 May to 25 September 2013), Children Go To Campus (15/9), Village Expo/Health Services in the village (21/9), Campus Expo/Health Services on campus (24-26/9) and the National Community Empowerment Seminar (9/28).
 
Chief Executive of I-SHARE 2013, Rhefa Dahtiar said, this activity is not only for students, but also for people who want to join and participate. "There are 45 groups listed in the Children Go to Campus (CGCT). A total of 18 groups come from those developed by IPB’s student boards, such as BEM-FMIPA, IPB Teaching, BEM FEM, etc. The rest comes from the groups of Early Childhood Education (ECD) from Bogor Regency,” said Rhefa.
 
While the format of the Village Development activities is designed as a competition for IPB students who have the motivation to build a village within a period of four months. The competition is how to make a progress in the village that can be felt emotionally and physically. Meanwhile, the Village Expo will be held in Cangkurawok – Babakan to provide health care for to the people around.
 
IPB’s Student Affair Director, Dr. Ir. Rinekso Soekmadi, M.Sc. F.Trop in his speech, gave appreciation for the success of I- SHARE 2013 activities. "I- Share is a student activity that is creatively carried out and hopefully will continue. It can increase the sense of social awareness and of the surrounding environment. It is also the realization of coaching and community service activities by IPB students," said Dr. Rinekso. (Mtd)
