The Expenditures of BOPTN 2013 for IPB Should be Utilized Correctly and Quickly
IPB Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir.HerrySuhardiyanto, M.Sc. urged the entire academic community of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), to accelerate the absorption of BiayaOperasionalPerguruanTinggiNegeri (BOPTN- Operational Funds for State University Expenditures) 2013 correctly and in good quality. The appeal was delivered in front of management staff of finance and the treasurer of BOPTN 2013, this afternoon in the special meeting for Monitoring and Evaluation ofBOPTN2013, at the Auditorium AndiHakim Nasoetion, DarmagaCampus, Friday, 20 September 2013. The source of BOPTN 2013is Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud).
"Out of the 105 billion allocated funds for 2013 BOPTNfor IPB, only about 46 percentwere used. I hope the rest of the funds will be utilized properly. But the most important thing of all is the quality of the work. Therefore, the expenditures of 2013 BOPTN should be well-planned. This special meeting is good opportunity for the related staff as a platform for them to integrate their perceptions and sharing solutions, and intensive communication as well, "Rector said.
It is common at the end of the year the expenditures will be increased, he added. However, the allocated budget should be used properly, no deviation at the end.
"We will prepare the progress report of BOPTN 2013, and will use it as our reference for Kemendikbudto allocate funds of BOPTN 2014for the IPB. Therefore, we organize this special meeting to enable each unit to prepare their respective reports and assist them to solve any constraints they encounter, "said Dr.D. IwanRuswandi, Director of Planning and Development of IPB in his remarks.
The officials concerned are presented to facilitate the participants in the discussion is The Director of Infrastructure and Provision of IPB, Dr.Erizal, the Director of Bureau of Finance, Mr.AgusCahyana, SE.Ak, MM, and Head of Procurement Unit of IPB, Dr.Cahyono Tri Wibowo, MS, were invited in the meeting as the resource persons to assist the participants for the information they need.
