IPB Developed the Touring of Campus Circle

To attrack the tourists and as the attempt to socialize the education high education, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) developed the Touring of Campus Circle. This was conveyed by the Vice of Head of Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) IPB Community Service Sector, Dr.Ir. Hartoyo in the event of Friday Tour IPB, Friday (20/9) in Masjid Miftahul Jannah Desa Babakan. 

 

“Meanwhile there are just two villages which are headed for the Touring of Campus Circle i.e. Desa Cikarawang and Kelurahan Situ Gede. There are several potential amongst them the crystal guava center, University Farm IPB, the lake of Situ Gede and the vegetable cultivation pilot in verticulture. I hope that one day Desa Babakan also becomes the destination village of the Touring of Campus Circle. Later we see about what is appropriate to be developed in the Touring of Campus Circle,” said Dr.Hartoyo. To the future, IPB would conduct the survey of potential of Desa Babakan to map its potential.

 

According to Dr. Hartoyo, Desa Babakan was the village which was the closest with IPB, so becoming its gate. “We hope its help in the structuring of its environment, specially the environmental cleanliness of Desa Babakan, to make it more attractive,” added by Dr.Hartoyo. If needed every year the cleanliness contest should be increase. Not only for getting gift, said Dr.Hartoyo, but also as the effort to socialize the clean culture. 

 

In harmony with the matter, Head of Desa Babakan, Syaehu in his welcome speech, conveyed his expectation in order that IPB conducted the assistance in the management of environment specially the arrangement of stores and trash around Desa Babakan. “We also say Happy 50th Anniversary of IPB, hopefully it is more advanced and can improve its image across national and worldwide,” he said.
