IPB Continued the Cooperation with District Government of West Pakpak

District Goverment of West Pakpak, North Sumatra, signed a draft agreement and cooperation agreement with Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) about the student admission of the degree program of Regional Representative Scholarship (BUD), Tuesday (10/9) at the Campus of IPB Darmaga Bogor. Appeared to be present were a number of officials from the District of West Pakpak amongst them the Regent and the Head of Education Office. 
 
Rector of IPB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Herry Suhardiyanto, M.Sc, conveyed that IPB was well aware of the agricultural sector which needed the younger generations who would love the farm and provided solutions to problems faced by this nation especially in the agricultural sector which needed the role of youth. Through this Regional Representative Scholarship it was expected to give chances to the students of SMA who were interested in studying agriculture to galvanize themselves to the agricultural science. Further the Rector stressed, “Cooperation that has been initiated through the BUD can be followed and enhanced toward a broader in the agriculture and other fields like assisting small and medium businesses and increased personnel competence area,” said the Rector of IPB.
 
“Students coming from West Pakpak who have passed IPB through BUD are 3 persons. We expect that they can act quickly to build West Pakpak, “ said the Regent, Remigo Yolando Berutu. Present in the activity, a number of IPB officials amongst them were the Secretary of the Institute,  Dr. Ir Ibnul Qayim, the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Dr. Ir. Sam Herodian, and the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Dr. Ir. Sri Nurdiati (wal)
