IPB Has Been Granted the Scholarships of YayasanMargajaya Sejahtera

Bogor Agricultural University  (IPB) and YayasanMargajaya Sejahtera signed the  Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that provides scholarships and health care for students, on Wednesday, 28 August 2013, at the Darmagacampus. "Large quantities of students are admitted into the University without the written test (SNMPTN), therefore, the  characteristicsof the profile of parents of students of IPB are special. The economic status of more than one third (1/3) of parents of students belongs to middle to lower income families.
 
I hope that the granting of the scholarshipswill provide better services for students who arereally in need. Regularly, scholarships granted for students of IPB are to cover their  costs of living only, cost of living plus tuition fees, or the entire costs and living as students up to their final assignments, "said Vice Chancellor for Academic and Students Affairs,  Prof. Dr.. Ir. YonnyKoesmaryono, MS.
 
The Secretary of the YayasanMargajaya Sejahtera, Ir. RM. SayidAgungWardoyo who is also alumni of IPB, batch 19 of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology,  was anxious for the implementation of this  partnership with IPB.
 
The amount of the scholarship to be granted by YayasanMargajaya Sejahtera for student  will be Rp 5 (five million  Rupiah) per year. "IPB is one, and even the first university to be selected for the scholarships provision by Yayasan Sejahtera Margajaya," says Sayid. In addition to the scholarships awarded, the Foundation also provides health services..(Wied).
