The Signing of MoU between IPB and PT. Martina Berto

Bogor Agriculture University (IPB) and PT.MartinaBertohave signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on joint research of herbal medicines and cosmetics, on Friday, 14 June 2013, at IPB campus. "IPB is very proud to establish partnership with PT. Martina Berto, a company that produces cosmetics made of local natural resources. I expect that there will be more similar companies to have partnership with IPB. The more companies producing productsmade of local wisdom raw materials, they will reduce our dependence on  theimportation of cosmetics and medicines from abroad, "said the Rector of IPB, Prof.Dr.HerrySuhardiyanto. Rector is very concern on the reality that Indonesia is only the market of foreign companies.

 

Dr.Marta Tilaar, founder of PT.Martina Berto said that the existence and the development her company to be nationally and internationally known has been due to the diligence and consistency all management and staff of PT.MartinaBerto. "Through consistent hard work and persistent, I am grateful that PT.MartinaBertoable to withstand up to 46 years," she said. The signing of this MoUis to refresh the established MoU, which was signed previously. Present in the signing event, Vice-Rector for Research and Cooperation of IPB, Prof. Dr.. Ir. AnasMiftahFauzi, Chairman of the Institute of Research and Community Service (SBRC IPB), Prof.BambangPramoedya, the Head of the Center for Study of medicinal IPB, and Prof.LatifahKadarusman and staff of  PT.Martina Berto.
