SKPD of Surakarta City and Administration City Government of East Jakarta Visit Posdaya under the Auspices of IPB

Human Resource Development Center (P2SDM) of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) received a visit from the Administration City Government of East Jakarta and Regional Working Unit of Surakarta City Government to four Family Empowerment Posts (Posdaya) under the auspices of IPB in four villages: Bubulak, Balumbang Jaya, Benteng and Cihideung Udik (14/6). This activity is the 50th Observation Study Tour (OST) of Posdaya in the villages assisted by IPB. In this visit, the delegation was divided into four groups with different purposes so as to visit four Posdayas at the same time.
 
Chairman of the representative delegation of Surakarta City Government (SKPD) and some universities who visited Posdaya Eka Mandiri in the Village of Cihideung Udik said, "I’d like to express the greatest thank to the Village Chief along with his apparatus, Chairman of Posdaya together with all managing personnel who have welcomed us so warmly and sympathetically, making this visit very impressive for us. The purpose of the visit is to gain knowledge, learn from experiences and hopefully after this visit we get a lot of experience, especially the SKPD of Surakarta.
 
"I’m from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sebelas Maret Surakarta (UNS), have has a small discussion with the team. We are from the university as a companion here and would like to make a comparative study as well in IPB to learn how to have partners with a successful assistantship here. This is a very great achievement," added Group Chairman.
 
Coordinator of Posdaya Eka Mandiri in Cihideung Udik Village, Iyang (30) said, "Hopefully such a visit can make the managing personnel more motivated and situation more alive. With more frequent visits, I hope there is much greater motivation from the operating staff to manage this Posdaya better. I want young people to learn to manage organizations and have high social life. Hopefully this event can provide an example for the younger generation to reassert the spirit of working together with the principles of togetherness and high solidarity."
 
"I would also like to thank IPB and Damandiri Foundation that have given the opportunity for Posdaya Eka Mandiri to receive this visit although we feel we have not developed much and at the same time hope that this designation of this visit can motivate us to do better," said Iyang. For Posdaya Eka Mandiri, this visit is the third of its kind held in the Village of Cihideung Udik. (Mtd)
