TPB (First Common Program) Students of Q05 Held Social Services

TPB Students of Q05, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), organized social services in the Situ Ilir Village, Cibungbulang District, Bogor Regency (12/5). This involves 80 students of Q05 by giving donation to the orphans in the local village. The event was held at the Village Hall of Situ Ilir and invited local community leaders and the village government staff. Chairman of the event, Ahmad Gus Fahmi said, "The purpose of this event is to create togetherness among classmates and we want to be able to provide benefits to the region around us. This is one of our activities for community services. This shows that we as TPB students can also serve the community"

 

Dr.Irzaman, M.Si, Counselor of Q05:  "We are the counselor for group Q05 taking them to perform a social activity in the village of Situ Ilir, Cibungbulang District, Bogor regency. In this social service they, with their own initiative and some funds they have collected by themselves, contribute to fifty orphans in this village. We are as the counselor very proud of the spontaneous initiative for the preparation of their separation leaving the dorm in two weeks they and for the final exam. So, we as counselors hope this to become their soft skill".

"I would like to thank the younger brothers (TPB students) of IPB for this social activity. Hopefully this event can tighten the relationship between IPB and the villagers", said Subhan as Head of Situ Ilir village. 

 

Meanwhile Ir. Diniah, M.Si, Coordinator of Guidance and Counseling Team IPB emphasized: "Actually, the kids want to eat together for their farewell party, but it is of less beneficial, and then an idea came out: why do not we share." "I think this is just one example; I also call for other students to do similar things for the villages around IPB. My hope is, in addition to the enthusiastic students, counselors can assist as without interaction between the student and counselors, it is difficult to carry out such an activity", added Ir. Diniah, M.Sc.
