Hundreds of “Minister of Finance” Learning to Manage Money

Hundreds of “family finance manager” attended a seminar entitled “Ways of Managing Family Finances”, Tuesday (7/5) in the Auditorium Andi Hakim Nasoetion Campus of IPB Dramaga Bogor. Yes, the family finance manager which was none other than the housewives seemed enthusiastic to follow activities organized by Agrianita IPB in commemorating the  Kartini Day of 21 April 2013.
 
Attending as a speaker was Mike Rini Sutikno, CPF, MRE., as the professional financial planner from Jakarta. In her presentation, Mike had alluded to the work pattern of the mothers as the financial manager in the family, ranging from the consumptive to the owing hobby.
 
This turned out to be recognized by a participant of Cibanteng, where she innocently said that every time she opened the cupboard,the immediately recalled her credit. Similarly, when sitting in the couch, her credit that she remembered. No doubt this confession made other participants laugh.
 
Mike also said it would be better if the mothers started to make the financial planning well, by which the priority precedence. She warned the mothers, that the meaning of the investment was not only the investment in the world, but also the investment afterlife.
 
Earlier, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Ny Rina Dahrulsyah, said that the seminar was intended to increase the capacity of the mothers in managing finances in the family. So the role of the mother in the family as the “Minister of Finance” could be optimized. (nm)
