The 44th OST (Observation Study Tour) of Posdaya in Situgede and Bubulak

A total of 90 representatives from Higher Education Institutions in West Sumatra, Banyuwangi, Surabaya and Pontianak participated in the 44th Observation Study Tour (OST) of Posdaya in the Villages of Bubulak and Situgede, West Bogor District, Wednesday (27/8). There were also representatives from BKKBN and BPM of Jambi, Riau and West Sumatra Provinces

 

In Situgede village, they said to have been fascinated with the very lively activities of the Posdaya, ranging from early childhood education, posyandu (integrated health services), lunkhead home industry, mushroom home industry to the deer breeding in captivity. "Very interesting, we were so fascinated. Hopefully our envy feeling is a good one. This has opened our eyes to do simlar activiies in our respective regions, as indeed in our area a Posdaya has also been established, "explained Prof Dr Hidayat, from the University of Tanjungpura Pontianak.

 

Head of Human Resource Development Center (P2SDM) LPPM IPB Dr Pudji Mulyono along with his personnel, Chief of Situgede village Mr Yana Supiyana, SH, and hundreds of residents warmly welcomed the guests in their area. According to Kenanga Posdaya Chairman, Salikan, his region has received a number of visitors on Posdaya OST from various regions of the archipelago. "Those from Papua have not come to Situgede," said Salikan. In the Village of Bubulak, a friendship atmosphere also appeared during the meeting of local villagers with the guests of the 44th OST.
