IPB again inaugurated an approximately 800 graduates on 24 April 2013. This inauguration and Certificate Sumbission  of Phase IV should have been led by Rector of IPB, Prof. Herry Suhardiyanto. However, because he was ill, the graduation ceremony was led by Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Yonny Koesmaryono. In his speech, Prof. Yonny congratulated for the degrees obtained by all graduates of IPB.
 
"Hopefully, the knowledge already acquired can be well applied and always bring out a good reputation of the alma mater anywhere," said Prof. Yonny.
 
In this graduation of Phase IV, Prof. Yonny announced  the following best graduates. The best graduate of the Doctoral Program is Tiltje Andretha Ransaleleh with the GPA of 3,9, and for the Master Program are Tri Hastini of Plant Breeding and  Biotechnology Study Program, Mirtasari of Conservation and Biodiversity Study Program and Armita Fibriyanti of the Management and Business Study Program. For the Veterinary Education Program the best graduate is Sri Rahmatul Laila and for the Undergraduate Education Program (S1) in the Faculty of Agriculture the best grsduate is Arif Rahman of Agronomy and Horticulture. For  the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine the best graduate is Afdi Pratama. In the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences the best graduate is Dea Fauzia Lestari. In the Faculty of Animal Husbandry the best graduate is Jeshua Gifsan. In the Faculty of Forestry, the best graduate is  Erlinda Mutiara Prastiwi,  the best graduate in the Faculty of Agricultural Technology is Siti Yunita Mardiyyah, the best graduate in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences is Rian Triana, the best graduate in the Faculty of Economics and Management is Haris Fatori Aldila and the best graduate in the Human Ecology Faculty is Bonita Dwi Anggraini.
 
The graduation ceremony is held as part of celebrating the Golden 50th Anniversary of IPB. This year Anniversary raises the topic "Agricultural Mainstreaming to Achieve an Independent, Just and Sustainable National Development". (Mtd)
