Prof Wayan and Prof Memen Received Students of SMAN 1 Majalengka

Visit of hundred of students of SMAN 1 Majalengka at Bogor Agricultural University, Monday (14/1), in the Auditorium Toyib Hadiwijaya became the education event which was very attractive. Siti Nuryati, M.Si., the resource person of Public Relation and Protocol Division of IPB, began a presentation on what and how IPB was comprehensively. It was followed by a presentation of Prof Dr I Wayan Teguh Wibawan from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and Prof Dr Memen Surahman from the Department of Agronomy and Horticulture of the Faculty of Agriculture.
 
In the event, Prof Wayan answered the issue that was hot at the moment in the community, i.e. bird flu. According to him, this disease could be anticipated if the public actually knew the science. Therefore, Prof Wayan invited the students there to love the world of agriculture in a broad sense. Meanwhile, Prof Memen directly encouraged the students to visit a number of laboratories in the Department of AGH.
