IPB Rector for the period of 2012-2017 Officially Inaugurated

Prof Dr Ir Herry Suhardiyanto, M.Sc. was officially inaugurated as Rector of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) for the period 2012-2017, Monday (17/12), in the Open Plenary Session of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of IPB in the Auditorium of Andi Hakim Nasoetion, Dramaga Campus of IPB Bogor. The inauguration was conducted by Chairman of IPB MWA, Prof. Dr. M. Ahmad Chozin, in the presence of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture, represented by Dr. Joko Santoso, IPB academic communities, and invited guests. Earlier, Prof. Herry submitted the memorandum of his last term as Rector to the MWA chairman.

Dr. Joko Santoso of the Director General of Higher Education representing the Minister of Education and Cultural Affairs, in his speech, congratulated Prof. Herry Suhardiyanto on his re-election as Rector of IPB for the second time.
 
"Hopefully, all the resulted outcomes in the previous period can be multiplied in the future. We also extend our congratulation for the very peaceful electoral process, with no significant problems. I hope this will become a model for other universities," said the Director General, applauded by those present in the ceremony. (Mtd)
