Evoke the Spirit of the Youth Through the Scientific Seminar

MIPRO Akmapesa Diploma Program of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) organized  the  Seminar on Pemuda Pemudi (Youth Seminar) on “Membangkitkan Semangat Pemuda-Pemudi Untuk Sukses di Era Globalisasi”  (The Spirit of Youth to be Successful in the  of Globalization) on Sunday, 4 November 2012.  The event was held at Grha Widya Wisuda  (GWW), Darmaga Campus, Bogor. The Organizing Committee  invited young noted speakers  known by youth as Raditya Dika (Comic Writer), Jamil Azzaini (Motivator), Elang Gumilang (Entrepreneur) and the Staff of the Manpower and Transmigration Ministry.
 
"The selection process to invite speakers were based on the  criterions as to balance the requirements of the audiences, as not all of them  want to be entrepreneurs, but  there are also those who are fighting in their  workplace. In addition, this seminar was also expected to present   the comparation image of entrepreneurial and the working environment, "said Rachmat Iqbal (19), Vice Chairman of the Committee of the SPP. 
 
The objectives of this special event were to improve the performance of human resources. The event which was taken in commemorate the “Hari Sumpah Pemuda” (the Youth Oath Day), was expected to  evoke the spirit of the youth  to be more competitive in the  globalization era. "Hopefully this event will encouraging the Indonesian youth in general and particularly the IPB community to win the competition in the globalized world," Rachmat Iqbal said. (Wied)
