30th Dies Natalis, FMIPA IPB Held the Business Meeting

In the 30th Dies Natalis, the Faculty of Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) and the Agency for Agricultural Research and Development, Ministry of Agriculture RI organized the Business Meeting program (11/10). This program was held in IPB International Convention Center (IICC). This Business Meeting raised the theme of “Pengembangan Sains dan Teknologi Pertanian melalui Dunia Usaha untuk Kemajuan dan Kesejahteraan Bangsa”.

The business meeting activity was one of the activities held to reformulate the blueprint of the collaboration of agricultural research and development with the universities in the attempt to increase the orientation on the acquisition of Intellectual Property Rights (HKI) and its adoption in the business and industrial world, and formulate the concept of partnership of the Research and Development Institute, university and business actors who were accountable and participatory to increase the usefulness of the research result in the community and uniform nationally.

In this occasion, Head of the Agency of Agricultural Research and Development, Dr. Ir. Haryono, M.Sc stated that, “I would like to congratulate to the Faculty of MIPA-IPB for the 30th Dies Natalis, hopefully it will be more advanced, to multiply the work and the role to support the agricultural development in Indonesia”.

This Business Meeting was followed by about 200 participants with the average composition of 35% participants from the Research and Development Institute including the Ministry of Research and Technology RI and LIPI, 35% from the universities including lecturers and final year students, and 30% from the business actors and the industry in the agricultural sector.
