Evaluation of Posdaya Quality in Bogor City
Agency of Community Empowerment and Family Planning (BPMKB) of Bogor City organized the Coordination Meeting of Posdaya in the Year of 2012. This coordination meeting was carried out at Gedung Serba Guna Graha Pool, Jalan Merdeka No. 110, Bogor City. This activity aimed at finding out the development and formulating the strategy to increase the quality of Posdaya in Bogor City in the future. This activity was officially opened by Assistant of Social Administration and Development of Bogor City, Drs. H Edgar Suratman, SE, MM.
The coordination meeting that took the theme of “Melalui Pemberdayaan Keluarga, Kita Sukseskan Program Posdaya di Kota Bogor” presented the Head of Development Center for Human Resource (P2SDM), Dr. Ir. Pudji Muljono M.Si, Secretary of P2SDM, Ir. Yannefri Bachtiar, M.Si, and Chairman of Association of Posdaya, Dramaga Sub-district, Yudi Hermawan. This program was attended by 157 people from 68 political districts administered by the lurah existed in Bogor City.
In his presentation, Dr. Ir Pudji Muljono, M.Si explained about Monitoring and Evaluation (MONEV) of Posdaya. One of the objectives of MONEV was to conduct the monitoring and evaluation toward Posdaya which had been formed both about the development of classification (criteria) and about the development in reaching the indicator of MDGs. Through the matter, how big the development of Posdaya in an area could be found out. “Maybe this Monitoring and Evaluation can be made the reference to increase the performance of Posdaya”, he said.
While Ir. Yannefri Bachtiar, M.Si in his presentation explained about “Aksi Lintas Sektoral Untuk Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Melalui Posdaya”. The Sectoral Crossing could multiply the strength and use, expand the relation and opportunity, create the new role and develop the confidence. In this occasion, Chairman of Association of Posdaya, Dramaga Sub-district, Yudi Hermawan, shared out to audience on the subject of Association of Posdaya Indonesia (API) and various experiences. In addition to presentation, this program was also colored with the discussion and made as the arena to share out the experience for the managers of Posdaya in Bogor City.
Related to Posdaya, IPB cooperated with Pemkot Bogor and Yayasan Damandiri had developed Posdaya in the area of Bogor City since 2010. In relation with that, the Mayor of Bogor had proclaimed that in the year of 2012 every political district administered by the lurah in Bogor was expected to form one model Posdaya at minimum. (rf)
