Delegates of SMA Al Hikmah Surabaya Visited Bogor Agricultural University

Four delegates of  High School (SMA) Al Hikmah, Surabaya, visited Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), on Wednesday, 9 May 2012, at Darmaga campus. The delegates were led by the Principal, Drs. H. Edy Kuntjoro, M.Pd, and was accompanied by Deputy Principal for Curriculum Development, Mr. Andik Sugeng Wahyudi, ST, Deputy Principal for Studentships,  Dra.Hayatun Nufus, and Head of Counselling, Myrna Retnani, S.Psi, Psychologist.

"SMA Al Hikmah Surabaya, was established in 2005 and currently is in the process to graduate its 5th batch of its students. This High School is managed by Yayasan Lembaga Pendidikan Islam Al Hikmah ," said Kuntjoro. The objectives of the visit to IPB, said Kuntjoro is in order to establish networks and exchange of  information, especially with the best public universities in Indonesia. The needed information are the admissions system, study programs especially the majors/minor curriculum, job opportunities for its alumni, and its learning process. "We are also exploring opportunities for cooperation in the field of teachers empowerment, research, and sharing of management on  information system, to enable schools to improve its service," continued Kuntjoro.

Vice Rector for Business and Communication of IPB, Dr. Arif Imam Suroso, accompanied by the Executive Secretary, Dr. Bonny PW Soekarno and head of Public Relations and Protocol, Ir. Henny Windarti, MSI, officially welcome the delegates of SMA Al Hikmah, Surabaya. On his remarks Dr. Arif stated that IPB routinely disseminate information on new admissions systems to Surabaya,  and hopefully someday he might stop at Al Hikmah High School. "We are very pleased to have all of you here at IPB. For your information, every year we visit Surabaya to disseminate information on new admissions systems to IPB for high school students there, "said Dr.Arif. (Wied).
