Commemoration of National Education Day at IPB

Minister of Education and Culture of RI Mohammad Nuh expressed congratulation on commemorating the National Education Day to all educators, educational staff, students, activists and lovers of education throughout the country.

"May what we have plant and sowed in education over the years become part of good deeds," said the Minister in his speech read by IPB Rector, Prof. Dr. Herry Suhardiyanto, acting as Inspector of the Ceremony of the National Education Day in IPB, Wednesday (2/5) on the ceremony field of IPB’s Darmaga Campus.

At the ceremony of this year, again there are a number of awards given to the state employees (PNS) who has been working continuously for 10, 20, and 30 years or more. The award “Satyalancana Karya Satya” is based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia number 15/TK/2012.

In addition to the state employees, the awards are also given to students who have excelled in the extracurricular activities of both national and international levels. The National Education Day ceremony in IPB was also vibrated with the attraction show of the Student Regiment. (Mtd)
