Some Departments and Working Units of Bogor Agricultural University have completed their international accreditation process. The validation for the international accreditation of the Department of Food Science and Technology was carried out by the Institute of Food Technologist (IFT) of the United States. Department of Technology of Agricultural Industry by ABET of the United States, and the Department is currently waiting for the visit of the assessor for the evaluation. Faculty of Veterinary Medicine by AVBC-Australia, and the assessor had visited the University, and also the Faculty Economics and Management,". The international accrediation process was reported by Rector Bogor Agricultural University of the , Prof. Dr. Ir. Herry Suhardiyanto, MSc  on  the Graduation Day Phase III of Bogor Agricultural University,  Academic Year 2011/2012, on Wednesday, 29 February 2012,  at Grha Widya Graduation (GWW).

Those in the process of international accrediation include Master Program for Business Management by AACSB of the United States, Department of Technology for Marine Science by IMAREST – the UK (submitted), whereas the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Biosystems by  JABEE-Japan,  Department of Landscape Architecture by LAAB of the United States, Department of Agronomy and Horticulture, Department of Plant Protection, Department of the Technology of  Livestock Production, and Department of Aquaculture, their  status for the accreditation process are still in progress by ASEAN University Network.

In addition to the accrediation of the quality of the academic  implementation, Rector stated that the University is also committed to the implementation of quality management systems according to the international standard.  The certification of ISO 9001:2008 for Masteral Degree Program for Business Management of Bogor Agricultural University, Office of Quality Management, Department of Agronomy and Horticulture, Research Center for Coastal and Marine Resources of the Institute of Research and Community Empowerment  (LPPM IPB), the Directorate of Educational Administration, Directorate of Human Resources, the Directorate of Career Development and Alumni Relations, Office of Internal Audit, and the Library prooved that those Units met all the requirements for such standard. Furthermore, ISO 17025 certification of the KAN have also been granted for Integrated Laboratory, Services Laboratory of the Department of Food Analysis of ITP of FATETA- IPB, Testing Laboratory of TIN Department of  FATETA- IPB, Laboratory of Productivity and Water Environment of the Department of MSP of FPIK, and Laboratory of Environmental Study of the Institute of Research and Community Empowerment  (LPPM IPB). Finally, the Centre for Tropical Horticulture (PKHT) have also been certified as a Center of Science and Technology Leading by The State Ministry of Research and Technology (Kemenristek RI).

At this graduation, Bogor Agricultural University awarded 898 (eight hundred ninety eight) certificates for 134 (one hundred thirty four) Doctorate degree holders (S3), 98 (ninety eight) Masteral Degree holders, 9 (nine) Masteral Degree holders in  Management, 23 (twenty three) Masteral Degree holders in Professional, and 634 (six hundred thirty four) Bachelor Degree holders. Furthermore, Rector declared that among the 634 (six hundred thirty four) Bachelor Degree holders,  the best student for the university level is Dwi Puji Lestari of the Department of Forest Management of Faculty of Forestry, with a GPA 3.96 and the was awarded Cum Laude predicate. The best student of the Faculty of Agriculture was Van Basten Tambunan of the Department of Plant Protection, with GPA of 3.67 and was awarded Highly Satisfactory predicate. The best student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine was Khoirun Nisa, with a GPA of 3.81 and was awarded Cum Laude predicate. The best student of Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science was  Ayu Ervinia of the Department of Aquatic Resources Management, with a GPA of 3.94 and was awarded Cum Laude predicate. The best student of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry was Fery Dwi Riptianingsih, of the Department of  Nutrition and Food Technology, with GPA of 3.73 and was awarded  Highly Satisfactory predicate. The best student of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology was  Dayu Dian Perwata Sari, of the Department of  Agroindustrial Technology, with GPA of 3.92 and was awarded Cum Laude predicate. The best student of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science was Retno Pratiwi Kusuma Dewi of the Department of Statistics, with GPA 3.76 and was awarded Highly Satisfactory predicate. The best student of the Faculty of Economics and Management was Amelia Kartika Yustiarni of the Department  of Agribusiness, with a GPA of 3.79 and Cum Laude predicate. The best student of the Faculty of Human Ecology was Agus Surachman of the Department of Family and Consumers, with GPA of 3.81 and was awarded Cum Laude predicate. Of the Graduate Studies Program, for Doctoral degree program, the best student was DR. Anas Zaini from in Agricultural Economics Program, with GPA of 3.96 and 38-month study period. For the Masteral Degree Program, the best student was Reza Samsudin from Aquaculture Program, with GPA of  4:00 and 27-month study period. In the Masteral Degree Prgoram for  Business Management, the best student was Reza Satrya Arjakusuma with GPA of 3.64 and 21-month study period. In the Masteral Degree Prgoram for  Professional Program, the best student was Moh. Hidayat Raga Samudra A.P. from the Management of Regional Development with GPA of 3.92 and 24-month study period.

With regard to the education reform after the cancellation of BHP (Badan Hukum Pedidikan/ Education Legal Institution) Law by the Constitutional Court, Rector sticks to the Government Decision (PP) No. 66 of 2010 on Amendment to Government Decision No. 17 of 2010 to  perform a variety of consolidation. "No doubt, the dynamics of these changes has caused complication and multi-interpretation. Nevertheless, with God permission, all members of the University Boards, the Board of Trustees, the Academic Senate (SA), Professorial Senate (DGB) and Rector, agreed to implement the transition process that highly regard the meaning of precision and commitment to the principles of obedience, participatory, and togetherness, " Rector said.
