Bogor Agricultural University Towards Prima Achievement for 2012

Rector of Bogor Agricultural University, Prof.Dr.Ir. Herry Suhardiyanto, M.Sc, expressed his highest appreciation for the successful implementation of academic process and the smooth reorganization in various fields as part of the continuous improvement program of the University. This was stated when he delivered his remarks  the “Wednesday University Get Together (Rabuan)’, held at Grha Widya Wisuda,  Darmaga campus, on 7 March 2012. On this special event, Prof. Suhardiyanto,  showed the achievements made by the University community, during fiscal year 2008 – 2011 as the Panca Prima roadmap.
 
"The year 2008 was the year of the Organization Prima, 2009 was Transparency Prima, 2010 was the Accountability Prima, and 2011 was the Accreditation Prima. While, for 2012, the University is entering the year of Achievement Prima, "he said.
 
Rector hopes to synergize the four excellent achiements made in the previous years for the  excellent performance of the University. "Let we do our best to achieve our target, " he said. Let’s we enter the year 2012, by achieving highest echiement  to make our beloved institute  proud of, "he said
 
In addition to inform the achievements and targets in the future, in the special event,  Rector launced  Management System Performance-Based Indicator “ Balanced Score Card” (BSC). The system is intended to make all the formulated programs will be reach its target and will achieve the specified key performances.
 
Performance Management System has been formulated. The formulation of performance indicators are considered to be very important for us, and the Key Performance Indicator (CCI) was simplified from 100 (hundred) into 64 (sixty four) IKK with important perspective. I hope this system will guide us to check which units still have the retrospective works, "he explained
 
In addition, Yudi as Chairman of the Joint Business Group (KUB) from the village around the campus,  accompanied by the Chairman of Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Prof. Bambang  Pramudya N. Presented  a parcel ccontaining Processed Food products of KUB to the University Board Members.
 
Fostering program for SME of around the campus was carried out by the University, through  mentoring program of SEAFAST, P2SDM and INCUNIE (formerly P3K), and LPPM IPB. The activities undertaken among others include the improvement of product quality, the acquisition of P-IRT, packaging improvement, improved access to capital and marketing.
 
Meanwhile, as the benchmark for the evaluation of  a university, one of which is the assessment of  its website. How well  is a university website in providing information to its users on the university profile, activities, publications and other informations.
 
The most  important of all, is whether information is accessible easily by its users.  Therefore, the Directorate of Communications and Information Systems (DKSI) held  web competition in its effort to evaluate whether Bogor Agricultural University’ web has achived   its  objectives  to be  the World Class University.
