Scholarships from Alumni of Bogor Agricultural University Batch 17

In the Alumni Reunion of Bogor Agricultural University batch 17 (1980), on Saturday, 17 December 2011, held  at IPB International Convention Center (IICC) the Alumni awarded Beasiswa Armada 17 (Fleet 17 Scholarship) to the University. These  scholarships will be administered to provide funding support  for 13 students to finalize their research programs, as well as for 30 students of Bogor Agricultural University for their tuition fees. Those scholarship awardees  have previously been selected.
        
Chairman of the Alumni Associations of Bogor Agricultural University batch 17 who is currently also Rector of the University, Prof.Dr.Ir. Herry Suhardiyanto, M. Sc. after delivering his remarks  then handed over the  scholarships amounted to Rp 171.717.000,– (one hundred seventy  one million seven hundred seventeen thousand Rupiah) to the student representative. "Thanks to the Alumni of Bogor Agricultural University batch 17 for all the support and concern. May God bless you for your  sincere and kindness, "said Dwi Ichsan Yahya, one of the scholarship recipients. The scholarship will be managed by the Directorate of Student Affairs to be distributed to students. Hopefully this is an inspiration for other Bogor Agricultural University Alumni. (Wied).
