EG: Defeat your Fear

Defeat your fear, every problem must be faced, not be avoided, we have be able to face all that. So said the successful young property businessman, an IPB graduate, Elang Gumilang (EG) in the General Lecture of Alumni Career Briefing along with other speakers: Senior Vice President of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero), Drs. Arry Basuseno, Ph.D., and Mental Surgeon Specialist, Zaenal Abidin. This activity was held in cooperation with DPKHA IPB and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk., (5/12), in the GWW Building, Dramaga Campus of IPB, Bogor.
 
"Being a businessman is not easy but it is also not difficult either. The most important is how  we keep our emotional and spiritual aspects remain stable. Do not think of getting the material world but the service should work with the intention of worship." Such was the philosophy described by the young entrepreneur who once achieved the Finalist in the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2010.
 
In principle, Elang says, as an entrepreneur he has always thought of not making profits only, but how to find the solutions to the problems of the communities and the nation in order to help the government. "Most importantly, we must first serve," he said. The similar case was also expressed by Arry Basuseno that the younger generation must be able to provide the best for themselves and also for the nation and the State. "Do not think as job seekers, but do something best for the nation and the State," he explained.

General Lecture was opened by Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof.. Dr. Ir Yonny Koesmaryono, MS., accompanied Head of Sub-Directorate of Student Career Development of DPKHA IPB, Iin Solihin, S. Pi, M.Sc. (Mtd)
