Finance Director of Bogor Agricultural University Organized Certified Training Course

With the changes of its legal status from BHMN (State Owned Legal Entity) into Public Service Board (BLU), accordingly  Bogor Agricultural University is ready to adjust its financial management pattern. This changes is in accordance with Government Regulation (PP) No. 66 in 2010 which states that as of early January 2013 seven of Higher Education State Owned Legal Entity (PT BHMN) must adjust its.

To affirm its readiness, the Directorate of Finance (Ditkeu) Bogor Agricultural University had organized the Training Course on "Certified Expenditure Treasurer" for its financial staff on 14 – 26 November 2011, at the IPB International Convention Center (IICC). The course was attended by 33 participants, 30 (thirty) were from BAU, whereas the other 3 (three): one was from the University Tadulako, Palu,  one of the Lembaga Penjamin Mutu Pendidikan (LPMP), Bangka Belitung, and another one of the Lembaga Penjamin Mutu Pendidikan (LPMP), Central Kalimantan.

"Such course was expected to increase the knowledge as well as to improve the professional performance of  the finances staff  to manage its fiancial matters in accordance with three Law (Law), Law No. 17 of 2003 on State Finance, Act No. 1 of 2004 on State Treasury, and Acts  No. 15 year 2004 on the Audit, the Management and Financial responsibilities of  State Finance, " said the Finance Director, Mr. Agus Cahyana, SE. Ak, MM., who was accompanied by Head of Sub Treasury, Mr. Abdullah, SE

In the Course, the participants were given both the  principal and supporting subjects. The Principal subjects were: 1). Financial Management; 2). Veryfying and Bill Payment; 3).  Taxation of the  Expenditure; 4). Accounting of Expenditure; 5). Reporting and Accountability of Expenditure. While supporting subjects were: 1). Receipts and Expenditures of State Financial System;  and 2). Professional Ethics of civil servants.

All subjects were presented by the competent  expert in their fields, namely Mr. Mohamad Tarekat, SE, MM., Mr. Tohirin, AK., Mr. Drs. Budi Rahardjo, Mr. Hasan Ashari, S. Sos., Mr. Noor Cholis Madjid, SE, M. Si, Mr. Drs. Mochamad Suprijatno, Mr. Haris Permadi, ST., and Mr.  Muhammad Sutarsa, S. Sos. (Wied).
