Formal Promotion of New Officials in IPB
For the purpose of role shifting the role of leadership, IPB again formally promoted some new officials at the lobby of Rectorate Building, (12/10). The positions that change in leadership are Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Head of Silviculture Department, Secretary of the Department of Nutrition and Feed Technology, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Head of Center for Regional Planning and Development Studies (P4W) LPPM, Head of Financial Management Information Services Section, Directorate of Finance IPB.
In addition to these positions, IPB also officially promoted two positions for Heads of the newly formed Centers and Secretaries, namely Center for Gender and Children Studies and Center for Business and Sharia Economics Studies (PSBES).
In his speech, Rector asked the newly appointed vice deans to always help the deans with the development of the Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Forestry toward an international research-based higher education in the field of agriculture.
Further Rector expects that Faculty of Agriculture continues to develop science with the focus on organic agriculture (organic farming). An expectation also goes to the Faculty of Forestry to continue to develop the scientific studies of forest herbs, considering such great biodiversity and forest resources available.
Rector also said the departments must be able to be the spearheads in the efforts to increase international publications in both quantity and quality.
To the two Heads to the newly established Centers, Rector said that they should always make efforts to become centers of excellence.
